Home fires occur every 43 seconds in the US. At least 7 people EVERY day lose their life as a result. Yet, in most cases this can be prevented.

Knowing how to prevent fires and what to do in case you're in one can save a life. That's what we're all about. And in honor of Gibby and Nino, please:

  • Check your smoke alarm. Learn more.
  • Make a fire escape plan and do a fire drill. Learn more about fire drills.
  • Be prepared with the right tools and supplies. Download this checklist.
